I'm a prisoner of words unsaid. Just lonely feelings locked away in my head. I trap myself further everytime I stay quiet. I start to speak but I stop and stay silent. And now I've made my own hard bed.
Inside a prison of words unsaid

Tweet, Erykah and Lauryn Hill... yes yes yes!
ReplyDeleteDSo glad we are getting albums from both Tweet and Erykah before the end of the year.
And I keep praying for a new Lauryn album to come into fruition.
I'm going to have to get up on a few of these. I've never been one to listen to Gospel music however.
ReplyDeleteTweet's song "Beautiful" hold a special place in my heart. When SA & Shonda got married she asked me to find a song that her sister Alicia could sing at the wedding. I had listened to the song before but passed it off as just a song you could cut too. I listened to it again, heard the words and was like wow. Needless to say I recommended the song and Alica sang her heart out at the wedding it was a beautiful moment.
"Nothing Even Matters" is timeless.
I like E. Badu but I'm not familiar with that song.
Chrisette & Corrine are Ok but not really my cup of tea, but I will give those cuts a listen.
